"Our leaders themselves are our own fellow-men,
Who can handle the sword, or the scythe, or the pen."
—John Greenleaf Whittier

The name for this website originated from my desire to create a platform for non-partisan geopolitical analysis, but it has expanded from this initial focus to showcase various artifacts and collections I have had the privilege to view, as well as some of my own metalwork and fiction. A common theme underlying this eclectic subject matter is a focus on the evolution of warfighting and military material through the ages.

My Analysis focuses on a combination of military history, contemporary geopolitical dilemmas, and futurism. The Artifacts featured on this website primarily comprise militaria, especially arms and armor, from diverse nations and eras. My Forgework combines modern resources with ancient designs and methods to produce works of art, many of them inspired by the aforementioned artifacts. Finally, my ongoing Fiction projects include the composite novel Veritas and anthology Vanitas, which together span nine centuries of intermittent conflict. This writing, in contrast to my more utilitarian analysis, takes inspiration from the Decadent movement and its arguably “purple” prose.
